TC630 Coaxial/Optical modem. Metal housing.The optical cable modem TC630 provides a point-to-point duplex optical cable connection
between two Advant Fieldbus 100 coaxial networks. For the function of the bus the TC630 is
total transparent. Since it provides a point-to-point connection,
it always requires two TC630 to realize a connection, Each Optical Cable
Modem TC630 must be calculated as 150 meters cable equivalent.
The ADJustment potentiometer on the front panel is used to decrease the signal in the optical fibre. It shall normally be set to max (clockwise). If distortion occurs due to signal overload no contact between stations can be established or the contact is lost periodically. In case of distortion, attenuation can be made by screwing ADJust counter clockwise (ccw).
