DO562 is an ABB S500-eCo digital output module that adds 16 transistor outputs to AC500 systems. It can operate as a centralized CPU extension or through supported S500 communication interfaces, with the application configuration and terminal-base wiring verified before commissioning.

Does DO562 provide relay or transistor outputs?＋

DO562 provides 16 non-latching transistor outputs, not relay contacts. Each channel is rated for 24 V DC and up to 0.5 A, while the complete 16-channel group is limited to 8 A and requires suitable external protection.

How are the outputs on DO562 powered and connected?＋

DO562 uses terminal 19 for the UP +24 V DC process supply and terminal 20 for the ZP 0 V reference. Outputs O0–O7 and O8–O15 use separate 9-pole and 11-pole terminal blocks, which must be ordered separately.

What must be checked before installing or replacing DO562?＋
