20-750-ENETR Description

The 20-750-ENETR is a 750 Dual Port Ethernet /IP Option module. This module has Two (2) Ethernet I/P ports, supporting 10 Mbps Full-duplex, 10 Mbps Half-duplex, 100 Mbps Full-duplex, or 100 Mbps Half-duplex communication rate. This module is capable of operating Tap or Adapter mode.

In the Tap mode, the option module operates like a gateway and functions 
similar to the 1783-ETAP module. The option module enables the 755 drive to extend its I/O connection to a linear or device-level ring (DLR) network topology. The connection is done by connecting the supplied Ethernet cable between ENET3 network port (of the option module) and the embedded EtherNet/IP adapter port on the 755 drive. The 755 supports these topologies and enables the 'Integrated Motion on the EtherNet/IP network' functionality

The module supports up to 30 Ethernet connections. Both Adapter and Tap modes support 16 simultaneous MSG instruction connections. In Adapter mode, one exclusive owner I/O connection is also included.
