At 5 Volts DC, the 1747-L514 processors require up to .09 Amps. It offers compatibility with the 1747-M1 and M2 memory modules and the M5 adapter socket. The local input/output chassis has a maximum of 30 slots, with a maximum of 3 chassis installable. It has a battery backup for the standard RAM with an expected lifespan of 2 years. An EEPROM backup is also available, but this is optional. The backplane current load at 5 Volts DC is 350 milliamps and 105 milliamps at 24 Volts DC.
