The 2711P-T6C20D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 600 Terminal that is made by Allen-Bradley. The 2711P-T6C20D8 is an operator interface that allows the operators to monitor, manage, and display application status information about the machine. This terminal has modular components that allow for flexible configuration, installation, and upgrades. This unit is powered via 24 Volts DC input power. It comes with USB, RS-232, and Ethernet ports for communication with other devices. This is a common feature of all the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 HMI panels.

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T6C20D8 processor’s speed has increased from 350 MHz to 1 GHz and the screen transition rate is approximately 70% faster than the same rate in previous models. The system memory has been increased from 64 MB of RAM to 256 MB of RAM and the flash storage space has increased from 64 MB to 512 MB. The illumination power of the backlight displays has also increased. Additionally, the 2711P-T6C20D8 provides greater connectivity to a variety of external hardware options such as printers, mice, and keyboards. Optional communication modules can be ordered for additional network communication.

The display screen has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels in 18-bit color graphics and viewing area of 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.). This colored screen is ideal for designing process mimic with high-level of information through color coded animations. This color-coded scheme may represent the actual state of an instrument or device as well as depict process area or grouping.
