The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP2A is a Logic module that is part of the PanelView Plus operator terminal product family. This module may serve as a replacement component as PanelView Plus products are provided with Logic module as standard supply. Logic modules, such as the 2711P-RP2A hosts the embedded communication interfaces, the power input terminal, CompactFlash card slot, USB interface, as well as the slot for interconnecting the display module.

The 2711P-RP2A comes with a 128 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 128 MB Flash, non-volatile memory. The 2711P-RP2A may only be used with PanelView Plus 700-1500 operator terminals as these devices are the product range that comes with a replaceable logic module.

With this, the downloaded application to this operator terminal can be executed and provided with the environment for interacting with the process.

The 2711P-RP2A is located at the back of the display module. Display modules and CompactFlash memories that are being hosted by this logic module must be installed without power. This is to prevent electrical arcing, preventing damage to nearby electronic components and modules.
