The 1756-L63S is a ControlLogix PLC product that features a GuardLogix controller with an I-O memory of 478 KB. This product is equipped with a vast 8 MB user memory and is capable of OS upgrades, user program storage, and data retrieval by way of memory cards.

For safety-related functions in the 1756-L63S system, an isolated second channel is provided by the coprocessor safety partner. There is no key switch or communication port available and the entire operation and configuration are operated and controlled by the primary controller. Physical connections between a GuardLogix controller and modules are supported by the ControlLogix chassis.

The 1756-L63S controller is equipped with a built-in lithium battery; its primary controller exhibits numerous beneficial points like report generation, arithmetic computations, data file manipulation, I/O control and much more.
