AB | 1746-OW16 | SLC 16 Point Digital Output Module

The PLC 1746-OW16 is a Relay Output Module from the SLC 500 programmable controllers series. Programmable controllers from the SLC 500 collection can be used with a wide array of applications such as HVAC control and high-speed assembly operations.  The module features a broad range of signal interfaces to the sensors allowing for such a wide range of use. All fixed and modular SLC 500 processors can receive digital analog data from the 1746-OW16 module. The 1746-OW16 stores all data in its image table. Additionally, the module includes a removable terminal block which is color-coded for easy identification. This feature eliminates the concern of having to disconnect wiring to replace a module. Every terminal block is guarded with barriers to prevent shorting of wiring. Additionally, the blocks each include self-lifting pressure plates to ensure a secure wiring process.

The 1746-OW16 contains 16 outputs. The output module supports both voltage and current analog sensors. Users can connect up to eight voltage or current sensors in any combination. The backplane current consumption for the 1746-OW16 is 0.17A at 5V dc and 0.18A at 24V dc, and the module has a continuous current of 16A ac and 8A/Common. Total heat dissipation for the module is 5.7 Watts. The signal delay maximum resistive load equals 10ms at ON and OFF. Operating temperature ranges from 0-60 degrees Celsius (32-140 degrees Fahrenheit). Storage temperature ranges from -40-85 degrees Celsius (-40-185 degrees Fahrenheit).
