The Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC Power supply expansion unit passes the 24V DC electric field to the I/O module on the right side. This power supply expansion unit extends the backplane bus power up to 17 I/O modules on the right side of the supply. This power supply creates a new field voltage partition segment for the field drive device. The 1734-EP24DC separates field power from the I/O module to the left of the unit.

This power supply is dark gray, and the dark gray color of the expansion power supply enables easy visual inspection and identification. You can use a power supply expansion unit with a POINT I/O adapter to assemble the system in full. The 1734-EP24DC expansion unit is compatible with 1734 POINT I/O adapters.

The supply voltage range of the 1734-EP24DC is from 10-28.8V DC. The maximum supply current of this power supply is 10A. The operating temperature of this power supply is -13-140 deg. Fahrenheit and the nonoperating temperature is -40-185 deg. Fahrenheit at a relative humidity of 5-95% without condensation. The operating vibration of this power supply is 5g at 10-500 Hz. The operating shock of the 1734-EP24DC is 30g and the nonoperating shock is 50g. It has 24 Volts DC Field Power and an Inrush Current of 6 amps for 10 milliseconds with Reverse Polarity Overvoltage Protection. This Expansion Power Supply has 10 amps Power Supply Current.

The 1734-EP24DC is an Allen-Bradley module that functions as an expansion power supply. This module is designed for use with the 1734 POINT I/O system. It is mainly used to extend the POINTBus current and supply power to modules installed at the right side of the power supply.
