The 1606-XLE240EE 24 Volts DC switched-mode power supply is a reliable DC power supply unit manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is specialized to work with AC or DC voltage rated at 200 to 240 Volts AC or 210 to 375 Volts DC, respectively. The 1606-XLE240EE power supply is characterized by a high short-circuit current (48 Amps) that enables the reliable initial powering of loads that have unpredictable behavior. The rated output voltage and power of this power supply are 240 Watts and 24.1 Volts DC. It is a well-balanced device with high levels of power and flexibility. Furthermore, it can protect internal circuits and devices on the load side from short-circuits and overloads. If there is an internal defect that can cause a high output voltage, a redundant circuitry restricts the output voltage to 35 Volts DC. Due to its extremely slim construction (60 millimeters), the 1606-XLE240EE power supply can fit into the smallest of industrial automation systems.
