The 531X124MSDAJG2 is an MFC Suppression Board. This is only one of several versions of this board. The 531X124MSDAJG2 is a small, rectangular board that is built with multiple cutouts and drill holes. The center of the board has four round cutouts that are ringed with a conductive material; each of these is labeled as AF, DW. DZ. and KF. There are two additional round cutouts and one oblong cutout. These are marked DX, DY, and GF.
The 531X124MSDAJG2 is a smaller board component manufactured by GE to fit into their general purpose drive systems like the DC-300.The 531X124MSDAJG2 has three metal oxide varistors. MOVs are used for over-voltage protection from transient surges using voltage-clamping, in the same way a Zener diode might.
